Update on Status of Senior Bishop Thomas Hoyt, Jr.

Dear Connectional members and friends:

As you are aware, our beloved Senior Bishop and Presiding Bishop of the Seventh Episcopal District, Bishop Thomas L. Hoyt, Jr., experienced a health crisis on Sunday, September 22, 2013.  We feel it pertinent to update you on his status.

Bishop Hoyt was relocated to a healthcare facility in Washington, D.C. on Thursday, October 10, 2013.  He remains in serious condition and the family has requested no visitors, so please abide by their wishes.

Please continue to pray that God will continue to heal Bishop Hoyt and give encouragement and comfort to the Hoyt family.
