THE PASSING OF MS. SUSIE A. OWENS

We regret to inform you of the sudden passing of Ms. Susie Ann Owens earlier this

evening (May 7, 2013) in Tupelo, MS. She was a member of Lane Chapel CME Church,

Tupelo, MS. She served as chairperson of the Constitution and Bylaws Committee of the

Women’s Missionary Council of the Christian Methodist Episcopal Church; former

Director of Christian Education for the North MS Region. Ms. Owens was a retired

educator but continued to mentor and guide young people.
