Bishop Williamson Warns Against Scam
Dear Connectional Members and Friends,

Greetings in the Name of Jesus Christ!

I'd like to inform you of an extortion scam that continues to circulate around the country.  Recently, someone impersonating me contacted CME pastors and requested for money to aid a family member of mine. There is no truth to this information. At no time should you send money to these persons.  Before you respond to any general request for such aid, please contact your Presiding Prelate or Presiding Elder.
