Passing of Bishop Walker's Brother John G. Walker
Dear Connectional Members and Friends,

It is with deep regret to inform you of the passing of Mr. John G. Walker, the brother of Bishop James B. Walker, Presiding Prelate of the Ninth Episcopal District and the Chair of the College of Bishops, Rev. Oliver D.  Walker (Indianapolis, IN) and Rev. Anthony Walker (Spencer, OK).  He was the husband of Mrs. Carolyn Walker and the father of three children.  Mr. Walker passed away on Friday, September 2, 2011 in Oklahoma City, OK.  Funeral arrangements are pending and additional information will be forthcoming.
