The Passing of Former Connectional Stewardesses President

Dear Connectional Members and Friends,

It is with deep regret to inform you of the passing today (March 14, 2010) of Mrs. Maxine McClury, the first elected President (and immediate past President) of the Connectional Stewardesses. Mrs. McClury was a servant leader in the Christian Methodist Episcopal Church and a faithful member of Phillips Temple CME Church in Indianapolis, Indiana (Rev. Oliver D. Walker, pastor).

Funeral arrangements are pending. Additional details will be provided soon.

Please keep Mrs. McClury's husband, Rev. Charles McClury, and family in prayer.
