Service Time and Place – The funeral service / homegoing celebration for President Wesley Cornelius McClure of Lane College will be Saturday, December 14, 2013, at 11:00 A.M. at the New St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church, 1670 North Royal Street, Jackson, Tennessee (phone 731-423-2228; Rev. Dennis E. Blalock, Pastor).
Date of President McClure’s Death – President McClure passed Friday evening, December 6, 2013, at the Jackson Madison County Hospital.

Passing of Lane College President Dr. Wesley McClure

Dear Connectional Members and Friends,

The Lane College Family mourns the passing of President Wesley Cornelious McClure on Friday evening December 6, 2013 at the Jackson-Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, TN.

We ask your prayers at this time for Mrs. Mary Bradley McClure, the McClure Family and for the Lane College Family - students, staff, faculty and Administration.

President McClure loved Lane College with all his being, giving himself untiringly to its progress.  His presidency has been marked with outstanding growth in the student body and the Campus, and with exemplary personal and professional recognition among his peers.

He will be missed.
